A day-by-day journal of the Baptist experience – North and South – in the Civil War era, the site chronicles the story of how Baptists reacted to the war and the dynamics of the war. Frequently quoting from Baptists of the Civil War era, the site provides a personal window into the lives and thoughts of Baptists during this critical time in America’s history.
The site is designed for both popular and academic use. Submissions for daily journal entries are welcome. Please contact Bruce regarding submissions.
