We’ve received many positive evaluations of last week’s Raleigh conference, and are grateful for the feedback. The keynote presentations were excellent, while the number of breakout presentations was greater than usual and the quality exceptional.
Vicki Johnson, archivist at Wake Forest University, attended and offers her thoughts from the perspective of a first-time participant. I am personally grateful to Vicki for bringing about the digitization of North Carolina Baptists’ Biblical Recorder, a source that has been invaluable in the researching of my Baptists and American Civil War project.
Other reviews of the conference have been posted by Bill Jones, director of Texas Baptists Committed, and Steve Harmon, adjunct theology professor at Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity, and one of several theologians who participated in the conference.
To Bill go special thanks for overseeing the videoing of all conference sessions. The videos will be available online on the BH&HS site later this month.
