Bruce T. Gourley is the Executive-Director of the Baptist History & Heritage Society. An historian (Ph.D., Auburn University) and Internet innovator (creator of the Baptists and American Civil War project and BaptistLife.Com), Bruce is the online editor for Baptists Today and the former Associate and later Interim Director of Mercer University’s former Center for Baptist Studies. Bruce is also the author of five books, including Diverging Loyalties: Baptists in Middle Georgia During the Civil War (Mercer University Press, 2011), Images of America: Manhattan, Belgrade, Amsterdam and Churchill (Arcadia Publishing, 2011), A Capsule History of Baptists (Fields Publishing, 2010), and Leading the Way For 200 Years: The Story of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville, Alabama, 1809-2009 (Fields Publishing, 2009). He also holds degrees from Mercer University (B.A., English and Christianity) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). For more biographical information, click here.

Jackie Riley is the Baptist History & Heritage Society Office Manager. She administrates the Atlanta Resource Center and is based in Macon (GA).  Jackie has prior experience as managing editor for Baptists Today news journal and as an editor for Smyth & Helwys Publishing.
