Baptist History and Heritage accepts manuscripts for publication consideration. To submit a manuscript, send an electronic copy to: Pamela R. Durso Or mail a paper
copy along with a CD to The electronic version should be in a Word, WordPerfect, or Rich Text format. Please include contact information, including e-mail address, in all correspondence. Because submissions are evaluated anonymously, the author's name should appear only on the title page and not on the manuscript. Manuscripts will not be returned unless requested and accompanied by return postage. All text should be adhere to The Chicago Manual of Style (University of Chicago Press). 1. Include a title page, with title of manuscript, author’s name as it should appear in the publication, and a brief author’s identification statement.
2. Prepare manuscript in double-spaced typescript with one-inch margins. 3. Use endnotes. 4. Insert page numbers on each page, including on endnote page. 5. Use full documentation for all direct quotes. 6. Use Times New Roman 12 point font.
Manuscripts should be 3,500-4,000 words (approximately 12-15 double-spaced pages), including endnotes. Solicited and unsolicited materials are subject to editorial modifications. Articles that are accepted become the property of the Baptist History and Heritage Society. Authors of published articles will receive two copies of the journal in which their article appears. Additional copies may be ordered by the author for a reduced cost of $5.00 per copy
